Cochabamba, Bolivia: De Boliviaanse strijdkrachten, @ComandoLas, hebben de paramilitaire inname van een militaire basis in de stad Cochabamba bevestigd en veroordeeld. Hierbij is de wapenkamer geplunderd en zijn militairen gegijzeld.

Minstens 1.400 leden van de gemeenschap namen vrijdag de kazerne Cacique Juan Maraza over; ze hielden leden van die militaire eenheid in uniform vast in Ichoa, een gebied dicht bij de gemeente Bulo Bulo in Cochabamba, in de tropen van Cochabamba op de route naar de TIPNIS. Volgens de klacht van buren hadden burgers ook toegang tot de furrielato, de ruimte waar wapens worden bewaard. Deze overname vindt plaats in de context van het protest van aanhangers van Evo Morales tegen de regering van Luis Arce. : RRSS
